Royal Park Golf & Country Club I Roveri, Piedmont
The two 18 hole golf courses of the Golf Club Royal Park I Roveri is located in the middle of the splendid natural park of La Mandria at the foot of the Alps and is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in Italy, which has been the scene of numerous international events, including the Italian Open and the European Amateur Championship.
The Royal Park Golf & Country Club I Roveri offers members, their guests and tourists the unique opportunity to play on two courses designed by world-famous architects.
Founded in 1971 by the Agnelli family, the Royal Park Golf & Country Club I Roveri was equipped with an 18-hole course, entirely designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Senior and inaugurated in the same year. Even today, the Allianz Course is known for hosting numerous major tournaments, including four Italian Opens and two European Amateur Team Championships. In 2006, the project was realized on the second course, the Allianz Bank Course, designed by the architectural duo of Micheal Hurdzan and Dana Fry, which transformed the club into a 36-hole golf club.
The development projects will conclude in January 2019 with the Edoardo Molinari Golf Academy, named after the European Tour player of the same name. Together with his brother Francesco, Edoardo won the Omega Mission Hills World Cup in 2009 and the Ryder Cup in 2010.
