The 18 hole golf course (par 71) of Il Pelagone Golf Club Toscana was designed by the American architect Keith Preston and inaugurated in 1999. The Championship Course hosts many pro-am and international tournaments such as the Nick Faldo Series Italy Championship.
The golf course winds smoothly through the green hills of the beautiful Tuscan Maremma. Golfers must act carefully in their game to maintain their standard, as many of the courses have difficulties that can easily have a negative impact on the final score.
The fairways and greens always present themselves in optimal conditions even in the summer months. Along the golf course, several water hazards, numerous bunkers and greens with double or triple elevation await the golfers. All these elements together make the golf course of Il Pelagone Golf Club Toscana challenging and yet again pleasant to play for beginners, as well as for players with experience.
