Golf della Montecchia – Veneto

The 27 hole golf course “Golf della Montecchia” in Salvezzano Dentro in the province of Padova in the vacation region of Veneto, was designed by the English architect Tom Macauley, at that time president of the “British Association of Golf Course Architects”. The design, elaborated in full accordance with the English school, paid great attention not only to the technical characteristics, but also to the environmental and landscape theme.

The varied course blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape, whose plain is characterized by undulating elevations of the nearby Euganean Hills.

The 27-hole course, with white, red and yellow lanes, has been enriched by lakes and various wildlife areas, which is also the habitat of a rich fauna due to the proximity of the Euganean Hills Park.
