Golf Club Udine – Friuli

The Golf Club Udine is located in Fagagna, province of Udine, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, one of the most beautiful places in Italy, amidst beautiful oak and beech covered hills rising against the backdrop of the Carnic Alps. Founded in 1972, the Golf Club is located in a well-connected position from Udine and San Daniele (famous home of raw ham). The architect John Harris created a first project concept with 9 holes, which were completed by the architect Marco Croze. The 18 holes are harmoniously integrated within the 73-hectare field. After the takeover of Golf Club Udine by Gabriele Lualdi, the course was transformed into a championship golf course through many changes from 2013 to August 2017.

The Golf Club Udine hosted the only Italian tour stage of the European Senior Tour in October 2016 and in September 2017 and the Alps Tour in June 2017. The golf course is nestled in a beautiful natural landscape: over 7,000 trees, a well-kept lawn and the presence of storks. The 18 holes are exciting and technically demanding. The course is a par 72 and playable all year round.
