Circolo Golf Ugolino – Tuscany
Golf Club Ugolino is located in the heart of Tuscany, near the cultural city of Florence, in the beautiful Chianti area. Founded in 1934, the Circolo del Golf dell’ Ugolino was perfectly integrated into the extraordinary hilly landscape of via Chiantigiana by the architects Cecil Blandford and Peter Gannon.
The golf course, which is not very long but nevertheless very technical, demands everything from the golfer due to its small greens and the numerous bunkers. The Ugolino Golf Course combines Tuscan nature with olive groves, vineyards, woods and hills. The well-known writer Chris Santella has praised Ugolino Golf Club in his book “Fifty places to play golf before you die”.
