The course was renovated in 2018 under the supervision of original course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. underwent a complete renovation. All bunkers were renewed and new irrigation and drainage systems were installed. The special harmony of the landscape and the natural environment of the 18-hole course is a truly breathtaking destination. The square is open all year round.

Antognolla Golf is fast becoming a world-renowned course, offering one of the most spectacular rounds of golf in Europe. Antognolla is one of the best golf courses in Italy and has been selected to host the 2019 PGA Italian Championship.

The castle of Antognolla, under which the Antognolla Golf course is located, takes its name from a powerful local family and dates back to at least the twelfth century. Even older is the crypt under the castle chapel, which belonged to a Benedictine monastery and once housed the bones of Ercolano, the patron saint of Perugia.

Today, the castle is located in the heart of a 500-hectare estate of exceptional natural beauty and overlooks the beautiful 18-hole golf course in the heart of Umbria.
